Donnajean Ward is a native of Detroit, Michigan and, until recently, a long-time resident of Washington, DC. She has over 15 years’ experience with program and event management. Most recently, she managed public programs, including an award-winning chamber music program, at the Folger Shakespeare Library. She previously worked as Director of Programs at the Computing Research Association and served as a policy specialist at the Federal Communications Commission from 1994 to 2001. She holds a degree in English from the University of Michigan and an MA in Radio, Television, and Film, from Northwestern University.
