Ronald O. Loveridge

Ronald O. Loveridge served as Riverside, California’s Mayor from 1994 to 2012. Prior to his term as mayor, he was elected to the City Council and served from 1979 to 1994. During his 16 years as Mayor of Riverside, he has played a pivotal role in the strategic and political landscape of our region, state and nation serving in an active leadership capacity on the boards of the League of California Cities, California Air Resources Board, South Coast Air Quality Management District, Southern California Association of Governments, Western Riverside Council of Governments, and National League of Cities.

Mayor Loveridge has represented Riverside in Washington, as the National League of Cities President. Ron’s national prominence was recently recognized by his induction into a prestigious national think tank, the National Academy of Public Administration.
