Black people stopped, arrested 3 times more than whites and Latinos in LA County

Los Angeles Daily News featured research from the USC Price School’s Center for Social Innovation and the USC Safe Communities Institute on the relationship between L.A. communities of color and the police. “Building trust and nurturing legitimacy on both sides of the police-citizen divide are the foundational principles we were hoping to facilitate with this research and community engagement effort,” said Erroll Southers of the USC Price School.
