We are pleased to announce our Februay book picks: One of Us: conjoined twins and the future of normal by Alice Domurat Dreger and Solutions and Other Problems by Allie Brosh.

Read one, or both, along with us!

One of Us examines the cultural idea of “normal” bodies and the politics which surround them. The author deftly challenges societal assumptions of “abnormal” bodies. If atypical bodied folks feel at home in their skin … normal … why should society change them?

Our second book for February questions what is atypical in a different way. Brosh illustrates living through and with big emotions, grief and depression. Solutions and Other Problems is a quick read, which will make you laugh and possibly cry.
