Dr. Ibram X. Kendi, How to Be an Antiracist

September 9, 2019 @ 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm

“The only way to undo racism is to consistently identify and describe it–and then dismantle it.”

Ibram Kendi brings an original approach to understanding and uprooting racism and inequality in our society and in ourselves.  He weaves a combination of ethics, history, law, and science, together with an engaging personal narrative of his own awakening to antiracism.

Become part of a conversation with Kendi, and examine ideas for how we can go beyond an awareness of racism and contribute to the formation of a truly just and equitable society. Until we become part of the solution, we can only be part of the problem.

The Noon talk & workshop is open to USC students only.  Lunch will be provided!

At 1:30, USC Faculty & Staff Session begins.

All attendees will receive a copy of his book.
