Facing Our Truth: Ten Minute Plays on Trayvon, Race and Privilege

April 1, 2017 @ 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Join the USC Bedrosian Center and the USC School of Dramatic Arts for a viewing of Facing Our Truth: Ten Minute Plays on Trayvon, Race and Privilege. In light of the George Zimmerman verdict, The New Black Fest commissioned six very playwrights to write 10-minute plays on the topic of Trayvon Martin, race and/or privilege. “Facing Our Truth’s purpose is to incite serious discussion in our collective communities around these urgent issues.”

Following the play there will be a facilitated dialogue on these relevant issues – USC Price Professor LaVonna Blair Lewis will participate. We hope you can join us for this important event on campus!

USC Bedrosian Center has group tickets for students for the April 1st matinee performance (we want to see LaVonna!) but several performances still have tickets available here if you cannot join us then.
