District Attorney Jackie Lacey has spent most of her professional life as a prosecutor, manager and executive in the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. Promising to lead “without regard to politics or partisanship,” Jackie Lacey was sworn in as Los Angeles County’s first female and first African American district attorney in 2012.
