A Live Play Reading

This event will feature a live play reading of “Who Are We” by Lennixx-Nickolai Treat Bad Moccasin (enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe).

The USC Bedrosian Center has partnered with the Red Nation Celebration Institute to amplify the stories, lives, and policy issues of Native Americans. As part of this partnership, USC Bedrosian Center will host several opening ceremonies of the 2019 Red Nation International Film Festival.

About the playwright:

Lennixx–Nickolai Treat Bad Moccasin is Dakota and Mnicoujou Lakota. He is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe and he is from Eagle Butte, South Dakota, a small town on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation. His creative interests include playwriting, screenwriting, fiction-writing, and graphic design. Lennixx currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he’s a PhD student at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.
