Bio

Janna Rezaee is a political scientist and an Assistant Professor at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy. Her research interests include American politics, the U.S. presidency and executive branch politics, the U.S. Congress, game theory, and quantitative methods. She is particularly interested in law- and policy-making in contexts of gridlock and inaction, political negotiation, and political accountability. She received her PhD in 2016 from the University of California, Berkeley. She also holds an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in political science from Kalamazoo College. Prior to graduate school, she worked at SafeHouse Center in Ann Arbor, MI and the Women’s Prison Association in New York, NY.
