Panelists:
Richard Callahan, Associate Professor, University of San FranciscoProfessor Richard Callahan is a highly active international educator with a broad range of expertise that includes governance issues, organizational theory, and public management. He is the Faculty Co-Chair of the School of Management’s Strategic Planning Committee and serves as the Faculty representative to the USF Board of Trustees. He was awarded Graduate Programs Teacher of the Year 2013 in the School of Management.

Gloria Rubio-Cortés, President, National Civic League
NCL President Gloria Rubio-Cortés is also the Executive Editor of NCL’s National Civic Review. She has held leadership positions in business, philanthropy, and nonprofits over the past 30 years. She has specialized in civil rights, community building, civic engagement and social justice issues. Before joining NCL, she held senior management positions at ZeroDivide (formerly known as (Community Technology Foundation of California) and Levi Strauss Foundation.

Ronald O. Loveridge, Director, UCR Center for Sustainable Suburban Development; Former Mayor, City of RiversideRon Loveridge has 33 years of public service – as a Riverside Councilmember beginning in 1979 and as Mayor from 1994 to 2012. He is a highly regarded regional, state and national leader. He served as President of the National League of Cities in 2010. Loveridge is a member of the National Academy of Public Policy. His statewide and regional service has included Board roles on the California Air Resources Board , California Forward Action Fund, California Competes, South Coast Air Quality Management District, Southern California Association of Governments, Western Riverside Council of Governments, and Inland Empire Economic Partnership.

Clifford Graves served as CAO of County of San Diego, Assistant Secretary HUD for Community and Economic Development, Director of Community Development City of Los Angeles, Redevelopment Director for City of Carson.
