Former USC Professor Raphael Bostic made historyin 2017 when he was chosen as president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, becoming the first African American to lead one of the Fed’s 12 regional banks. Bostic also become the first openly gay person to be a regional Fed president.
