Matt Schauer

Matt Schauer worked with the Bedrosian Center as a Master of Public Administration candidate (2018) interested housing policy and anything dealing with the unbanked. His range of professional experiences, includes working in microfinance in rural China, co-founding an import-export company, running for office, and currently interns for LA Councilman Marqueece Harris-Dawson. His love for people—with different and unique backgrounds that are passionate about what they do—is surpassed only by his love of great food with bold flavors. If he’s not entranced in a conversation with a dear friend or newly introduced colleague, you can find him watching a movie, traveling to see family or an old friend, or avoiding shopping for clothes.
