The Judith and John Bedrosian Center on Governance and the Public Enterprise is pleased to announce the appointment of William T. (Bill) Fujioka as the newest member of the Board of Advisors. With over 40 years of experience in local government, Bill Fujioka brings a wealth of practical experience and expertise to the Board. Bill has been a fixture of the Los Angeles policy scene, beginning in 1999 as the City’s Administrative Officer to his most recent position as the Chief Executive Officer of Los Angeles County from July 2007 through his retirement in 2014.

“I am very happy to welcome Bill as our latest addition to the Bedrosian Center board,” said Raphael Bostic, Director of the Bedrosian Center. “The skills Bill gained through his experiences leading major institutions have given him a perspective that can help guide the Bedrosian Center and help us better serve practitioners, academics and the public.”

The Bedrosian Center Board of Advisors is comprised of individuals from many different levels of public policy, government, and governance in the broad sense. The Board advises and guides the public outreach programs of the Center. In addition, the Board members raise awareness of the Center’s research and services to the broader practitioner community.
