Anthony W. Orlando

Anthony W. Orlando is a first-year PhD student in Public Policy and Management. His research focuses on the role of housing and financial policies in economic and social welfare, especially as they affect inequality, unemployment, and business cycles. His latest book, Letter to the One Percent, explores the causes and consequences of the widening gap between the richest one percent of American households and the rest of the population.

Orlando holds a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as an MSc in Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He writes op-eds for the Huffington Post and the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, and he teaches in the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Los Angeles.
